Business zone "Maletići"

Economy I1: manufacturing, servicing, repository and business zone

Maletići business zone is situated by the A1 Rijeka – Zagreb (i E65) highway on the southern side of "Novigrad na Dobri" junction, at the first exit after Karlovac in Rijeka direction, on the 9th kilometre from Karlovac.

The Business Zone is intersected by state road D6 which runs from the Republic of Slovenia – Metlika – Netretić - Novigrad na Dobri junction – Duga Resa.

Business Zone "Maletići" is extremely well connected transportation and traffic-wise:

• It is located by the A1 Rijeka – Zagreb (i E65) highway on the Novigrad na Dobri junction.
• It is located just before the A1 Rijeka – Zagreb (i E65) highway and Zagreb - Split intercross.
• It is connected with Republic of Slovenia through the road D6 and it is only 23 kilometres away.
• It is also one of the nearest routes towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maljevac border crossing in Velika Kladuša is only 50 kilometres away.
• It is in the immediate vicinity of Karlovac, and only 56 kilometres away from Zagreb.

Local advantages

Netretić borough is a zone of a special state care, 3rd category, which means that an entrepreneur has the right to tax benefits (Zakon o podrucju posebne skrbi- Narodne novine br. 86/08).

• There is a possibility of exemption from paying water connection.
• New companies are exempt from paying Company taxes for two years.
• Minimal municipal payment is 4 kn/m2, but there is an option of reducing, or even completely exempting from payment if the project is considered as of greater interest for the Netretić borough.

Infrastracture

The Business Zone is in the equipping phase via these projects:

• supplying with the electricity: TS 630 kw low voltage energy array

Ownership structure

10 hectares or 100 000 square meters of the area are owned by the company “Vuksan nekretnine d.o.o.”, Lasinja, and the other half is owned by “Terra-promet”, Karlovac.

The rest of the area, 5,6 hectares or 56 000 square meters are partially co-owned by the aforementioned firms.
